An exploration of Thing 000782 - Bruits de la Nature n.2, a controversy around copyright on bird sounds recorded by Jean Claude Roche, guided the artist to French philosopher Etienne Souriau's reflections on 'coëfficient d'art' and possibilities for art to exist in the animal world.
