> ADD A NEW LIBRARY DOCUMENT <

What is a document?

The 10 units of the library, with their 7 shelves each

The library is composed of 10 units, with 7 shelves each. On those shelves are documents. Most of these documents are printed documents like books, leaflets etc. To a lesser extent, there are also miscellaneous documents such as tapes and CDs. A document is defined by two levels, a generic level and a copy level.

Generic reference and copies

The GENERIC level describes the expression of a work. It's the bibliographic reference of the document.

An example of a generic reference is :

"La Guirlande en Roses de Papier" by Henri Liebrecht published by Cote d’Or in 1939

The COPY level describes a copy of a generic entity. For some of them, there are several copies in the library.

The copy level describes the items slipped in the pages (visit cards, postcards, tickets, ...), the written notes by Kobe and the shelf on which the copy is placed.

An example of a copy is :

the copy of "La Guirlande en Roses de Papier" by Henri Liebrecht published by Cote d’Or in 1939 and which is located in Agency's library in shelf 1.1.

This category uses the form Library document.

/!\ edit: some books were moved from the shelf 10 to the unit 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0.
Now they came back where they were, so we need to update the table below.

If the shelf is in red, no document has been documented in the wiki yet.
